Headless CMS with a modern Astro or Next.js live site
Headless setups decouple content editing from the live site - editors get a proper CMS, visitors get a fast Astro or Next.js frontend. WordPress is my specialty, but the same architecture works with Sanity, Strapi, Contentful, or Payload if that is what you already use.
No PHP on every page view, no bloated plugin stack on the public web - just pre-rendered pages that stay quick when traffic surges.

Most of my headless work uses WordPress - block editor, ACF, custom post types - but I can work with Sanity, Strapi, Contentful, or Payload when the fit is right.

Frequently asked questions
Why choose a headless CMS over a traditional coupled setup?
Headless keeps your CMS for content management and puts the visitor-facing site on Astro or Next.js, pre-rendered for speed. You get faster loads, safer public infrastructure, and room to grow without re-platforming editors.
Do you only work with WordPress?
No. WordPress is my deepest specialty - most projects use it as the content backend. But headless is headless: content API, preview workflows, and a decoupled frontend. I am happy to work with Sanity, Strapi, Contentful, Payload, and similar platforms.
Can my team still edit content in the CMS?
Yes. On WordPress projects, editors use familiar workflows with content syncing via WPGraphQL or REST. On other platforms, the same principle applies - your team keeps a proper editing UI while the live site stays decoupled.
Astro or Next.js - which do you recommend?
Astro suits content-led marketing sites. Next.js suits apps needing more client interactivity or complex routing. I recommend based on your model, not a default.
How is this priced?
Every project is scoped after a short discovery call, then quoted as a fixed price. Complexity depends on content models, integrations, search, multilingual setup, and preview workflows - I will give you a clear number before any build starts.
